ABOUT THE ONE SHEEP
The One Sheep, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that utilizes online platforms to reach individuals in closed countries. Through a group of mentors, we disciple students to become followers of Jesus Christ.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
Scriptures: The Old and New Testaments are wholly the Word of God, inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
God: There is one God, the Creator; eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator of heaven and earth and everything in it.
Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, is truly God and truly man. He was crucified on the cross for the sins of mankind and bodily resurrected on the third day. He ascended to heaven, sits at the right hand of God, and we wait in the imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead. He indwells all believers, enables them to understand biblical truth, empowers them for godly living, and equips them for service and witness. The Holy Spirit will convict mankind of their sin so that they will repent and be born again.
Man and Sin: Mankind is created in the image of God, and that Adam and Eve, our first parents, having been tempted by Satan, rebelled against God. Because of their disobedience, the whole human race inherited a sinful nature, alienated mankind from God, and subjected us to His divine wrath and judgment. Mankind thus lost its spiritual life.
Salvation: The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified by His shed blood. Mankind is justified by faith in Jesus, and redemption is purely by the grace of God. Apart from Christ, there is no other way to salvation. We also believe that once saved, those who are redeemed are forever secured in Christ. All who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God.
